Analysis on Priority of Constraint Factors in Physical Activity Participation by Elderly People: Focused on Sports Club and Homes for Elderly People in Some Areas of Seoul
Kim Chun-Jong

Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze priority of constraint factors in participation in physical activity each stages of change with elderly people who live in Seoul. To this end, data were collected in open-ended questions, inductive content analysis was conducted, and constraint factor was explored. Since then, based on this, priority of factor to constraint participation in physical activity each stage of change was analyzed by implementing analysis hierarchy process(AHP). AHP was analyzed using Expert Choice 2000 which is exclusive solution. The study results are as follows. Factors to constraint participation in physical activity for elderly people were classified to 11 specific categories and two general categories. Specific categories of environmental factor are five such as lack of access, lack of leader, lack of facility, lack of exclusive program, and lack of information. Specific categories of individual factor are 6 such as worsening of health, burden of cost, deteriorated physical strength, lack of motive, lack of time, and lack of partner. Let`s see priority of factors to constraint participation in physical activity each stage of change. For precontemplation phase, lack of partner most limited participation in physical activity for elderly people. For contemplation phase, preparation phase, action phase, and maintenance phase, worsening of health most limited participation in physical activity for elderly people.
